Design & Make (صمّم واصنع) is a two-month educational program funded by the Al Hussein Fund for Excellence and implemented in collaboration with the Jordanian Ministry of Education at King Abdullah II Schools for Excellence across Jordan.

The program equips students with practical skills in Design Thinking, creative problem-solving, and digital fabrication. Students begin by exploring their communities and identifying real challenges, then move through user research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and feedback. Finally, they use 3D design and 3D printing to transform their ideas into tangible solutions.

Beyond technical skills, the program develops creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and confidence, giving students a hands-on learning experience that takes them from discovering a problem to designing and making a real-world solution.

صمّم واصنع هو برنامج تعليمي ممول من صندوق الحسين للإبداع والتفوق، ويُنفذ بالتعاون مع وزارة التربية والتعليم الأردنية في مدارس الملك عبدالله الثاني للتميز في مختلف محافظات المملكة يمتد البرنامج على مدار شهرين، ويهدف إلى تمكين الطلبة من مهارات التفكير التصميمي، حل المشكلات والتصنيع الرقمي من خلال تجربة تعليمية عملية مرتبطة بمجتمعاتهم.

تبدأ رحلة الطلبة من اكتشاف المشكلات والتحديات في مجتمعهم المحلي وفهم احتياجات المستخدمين، ثم الانتقال إلى البحث وتوليد الأفكار، وبناء النماذج الأولية واختبارها وتطويرها بناءً على التغذية الراجعة، وصولاً إلى استخدام التصميم ثلاثي الأبعاد والطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد لتحويل أفكارهم إلى حلول ملموسة

وإلى جانب المهارات التقنية، يركز البرنامج على تطوير التفكير الإبداعي والنقدي، العمل الجماعي، التواصل والثقة بالنفس، ليمنح الطلبة تجربة متكاملة تنتقل بهم من اكتشاف المشكلة إلى تصميم وصناعة حل حقيقي
